Our Operations Team is integral to our mission of helping our community to live better. You will be responsible for maintaining the order and cleanliness of the club. The ideal candidate thrives on outstanding work, is detail oriented and will strive to build positive relationships with our members and staff.

Responsibilites

  • Laundry

  • Locker room care (i.e. cleaning toilets, showers)

  • Cleaning machines and equipment

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing and mopping floors

  • Window care

  • High dusting

Requirements

  • This is a physically demanding job that requires constant standing, walking, bending, squatting, and the occasional lifting of up to 50lbs.

  • Availability on weekends and evenings.

  • Part Time/ Day Time only at this time.

Aquatics - Swim Instructor

Responsibilities

  • Teaching swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety rules to students with varying swimming abilities.

  • Assisting more experienced swimmers to enhance their swimming abilities.

  • Assessing the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs accordingly.

  • Monitoring students to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Implementing ground rules for each swim session.

  • Planning swimming lessons that take into account students’ abilities and progressive development.

  • Identifying incorrect swimming techniques and correcting students accordingly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Proven experience working as a swim instructor or lifeguard.

  • CPR, First Aid, and American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor or Basic Swim Instructor (BSI) certifications.

  • Sound knowledge of proper swimming techniques and water safety rules.

  • Strong swimming abilities.

  • Excellent conflict resolution skills.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Passionate and enthusiastic.

  • Abide by the policies and procedures listed in the 212 Fitness Employee Handbook.

Salary

  • $19.93 to $29.93 per hour

Member Services Representative

Are you a people person? Do you enjoy problem-solving and helping others? If so, we invite you to join our positive, fun, motivated team here at 212 Fitness! We are looking for an enthusiastic Member Services Representative for our club. 

SUMMARY 

This position is directly supervised by the Member Services Lead and will assist in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to:  

  • Serve as the central informational hub for the club.  

  • Greeting each guest entering and leaving the club with enthusiasm and a smile.  

  • Develop relations with members and guests to create a welcoming environment. 

  • Answering, transferring, and taking messages from incoming calls in a professional manner.  

  • Handling member requests, complaints and comments using basic problem-solving skills.  

  • Cash handling and computer skills to conduct basic transactions using club program. Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of shift. 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 18 years of age and older, preferred. 

  • One year of customer service experience, preferred. 

  • Reliability, professionalism, and communication skills are a must. 

  • Able to work flexible hours, including opening, closing, some midday, and weekend availability. 

  • Willing to learn new things and be a team player. 

  • Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with guests.  

  • Ability to effectively communicate with members and guests on the club services, resources, options, promotions, and events. 

  • Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun and fast paced environment.  

  • Must work closely with the sales team to communicate about new members, prospects, and club promos.  Ability to learn and be proficient with the club software used daily. 

Childcare Provider

Have you always kept your sense of imagination? Join our Child Care team to care for our little 212 members! You’re the right candidate if you’re passionate about providing the highest quality of customer service and have excellent communication skills. We want to make the children’s experience warm, rewarding, and fun! Right now, we are looking for someone who is available during the following hours: Monday - Friday between 8:30AM and 12:00PM. Childcare experience is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Care for children ages 6 weeks through 7 years old while parents use the club

· Help lead daily activities

· Interact, teach, and play with kids using age-appropriate materials/equipment

· Responsible for proper check-in and check-out of kids from Child Care

· Motivating children to stay active during time in Child Care

REQUIREMENTS

· CPR Certification required within 60 days of employment

· Experience working with children is a must

· Available Monday - Friday 8:30PM - 12PM

· Ability to multitask in an ever-changing environment

· Effectively communicate with youth and adult members

· Maintain a personal commitment to meeting the needs of clients and guests

Massage Therapist

Become a part of 212 Spa and provide all of our clients with a relaxing massage experience. While here, take time to grow a returning clientele base with great customer service and amazing massage techniques.

SUMMARY

$250 signing bonus

Competitive compensation based on commission for services and retail

REQUIREMENTS

Possess a valid massage license for the State of Wisconsin

Must be available some evenings and Saturdays

Proficiency with use of general massage equipment needed to perform technical work

Top notch customer service skills and maintain strong customer relationships

Ability to grow a business and retain clients

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desire to learn and excel in your skills

JOB DUTIES

Acknowledge and greet all guests with friendly, prompt, and courteous service

Perform massage based on client needs and requirements

Assist in spa duties (e.g., filling and caring for Spa retail displays and shelves)

Adhere to spa dress code and Spa 212 standards for guest service and cleanliness

Build your own client base through referrals and utilizing promotional materials available, while following all company policies and procedures
