Member Services Representative

Are you a people person? Do you enjoy problem-solving and helping others? If so, we invite you to join our positive, fun, motivated team here at 212 Fitness! We are looking for an enthusiastic Member Services Representative for our club. 

SUMMARY 

This position is directly supervised by the Member Services Lead and will assist in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to:  

  • Serve as the central informational hub for the club.  

  • Greeting each guest entering and leaving the club with enthusiasm and a smile.  

  • Develop relations with members and guests to create a welcoming environment. 

  • Answering, transferring, and taking messages from incoming calls in a professional manner.  

  • Handling member requests, complaints and comments using basic problem-solving skills.  

  • Cash handling and computer skills to conduct basic transactions using club program. Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of shift. 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 18 years of age and older, preferred. 

  • One year of customer service experience, preferred. 

  • Reliability, professionalism, and communication skills are a must. 

  • Able to work flexible hours, including opening, closing, some midday, and weekend availability. 

  • Willing to learn new things and be a team player. 

  • Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with guests.  

  • Ability to effectively communicate with members and guests on the club services, resources, options, promotions, and events. 

  • Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun and fast paced environment.  

  • Must work closely with the sales team to communicate about new members, prospects, and club promos.  Ability to learn and be proficient with the club software used daily.
