A Letter from Annie

After 3 years of exercising on my own with no results, I decided it was out of my hands and I would have to join a gym. With research of gyms in the area, I decided to give 212 Fitness a try. I have never belonged to a gym, let alone worked out in one. I come from a farm background and work in the construction industry. Kim Jesch was my membership coordinator. She was phenomenal! Extremely supportive, Kim’s encouragement, enthusiasm, smile and energy is what keeps me going to the gym.

212 is a family. I was intimidated because of my age but when you are there everyone smiles at you, and there is an encouragement of ‘you can do it, I’m proud you’re here’. That smile, that is what makes you feel like you belong. You want to be there.

The diversity at 212 is endless. There is cardio, weights, it’s amazing. I like the classes, the instructors are top notch and very supportive. There are many different classes to choose from to fit your needs or interests. It is fun to try so many.

As for successes, my clothes fit better, I am stronger, have improved balance, increased energy so I’m a lot less tired all the time. Do not need the 3:00 coffee breaks and sugar intake has decreased. I can eat what I like.

Overall, this has been a great addition to my life. I am happy with the improved health choices. Some days it is not easy, it’s hard to even want to go but if you push yourself to get into the gym there’s 212 family to greet you and encourage you.
