HYROX Coordinator
Schedule: Part Time, Flexible Hours (up to 20 hours per week)
Compensation: $20/hour Admin, $30/per Class Instruction (45 Minutes)
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Position Summary
The HYROX Coordinator is responsible for the leadership, development, and growth of the HYROX Training Program at 212. This role goes beyond administration—this is a hands-on coaching and leadership position focused on building a high-performing coaching team, delivering an elite member experience, and creating a competitive yet highly supportive community culture.
This individual will lead from the front through coaching, staff development, and culture-setting while driving participation, retention, and program growth.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Program Leadership
Serve as a lead coach, including instructing 5:30am HYROX classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays (non-negotiable core shift).
Deliver high-quality, structured, and progressive programming that reflects HYROX training standards.
Set the tone for class energy, coaching presence, and member engagement.
Instructor Development & Accountability (NEW EMPHASIS)
Actively train, mentor, and develop all HYROX instructors through:
Regular floor coaching and observation
1:1 feedback sessions
Ongoing skill development and education
Establish clear expectations for:
Coaching presence and energy
Member interaction and engagement
Class structure and flow
Create a consistent coaching standard across all instructors
Build a team that delivers a competitive, high-performance experience while maintaining a strong sense of community and inclusivity
Conduct quarterly instructor evaluations and maintain documentation
Culture & Community Building (NEW EMPHASIS)
Intentionally build a competitive but community-driven training environment
Members should feel both challenged and supported
Foster relationships with members to increase retention and loyalty
Lead initiatives that promote accountability, camaraderie, and internal competition
Plan and execute community-based events, challenges, and in-house competitions
Program Growth & Performance
Strive for a minimum average attendance of 10 participants per class
Drive program growth through:
Member engagement
Instructor development
Collaboration with marketing
Track and report:
Attendance
Program trends
Growth opportunities
Operations & Administration
Coordinate class schedules with AGM (additions, changes, accuracy)
Ensure app and schedule accuracy
Track monthly participation metrics with AGM
Assist with budgeting and cost tracking
Submit payroll accurately and on time
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism of the Performance Center
Communicate equipment needs, maintenance, and ordering
Marketing & Outreach
Collaborate with marketing team on:
Promotions
Social media presence
Program visibility
Represent the HYROX program within the club and local community
